	During your tenancy, you can file a housing disrepair claim either before or after it ends, but the person must do so within six years of giving notice to their landlord about the problem. Personal injury claims must be made within three years of getting notification. Repair faults that occur as a result of your negligence, or doing something unreasonable, are not the responsibility of your landlord.
